About Ouest-France

As a subsidiary of the Sipa group, Ouest-France, an independent national media, is guided by the group's primary mission: to enlighten, inform and connect citizens in order to advance the common good while respecting the dignity of each individual.

Our mission involves everyone in our organisation in their daily lives. It also means sharing humanist values in the service of democracy and the communities that make up society.

Today, 1,600 men and women, including more than 700 journalists, work every day to make Ouest-France the leading French daily newspaper and one of the leading news websites in the French-speaking world.

Ouest-France reaches an average of 23 million readers (print and web) and sells almost 650,000 newspapers a day. In response to changes in the media, Ouest-France is constantly seeking to innovate, both in terms of digital development and in terms of its print publications.
