⬇ How can I sign up for the Student Challenge?
You can sign up at https://ouest-france.agorize.com and make sure to confirm your email address. Don’t forget to click "Participate" in order to receive announcements and notifications about the Challenge.
⬇ How can I form a team?
You are allowed 2-5 members in a team. There are no limitations to who can be in a team together as long as they are current students of a post-secondary institution.
If you are participating alone and looking for a team, you can find other teammates or join an existing team on this platform!
⬇ Do I get any updates about the challenge?
Whenever there is an update, you will receive an email notification from the admin to your registered email address. This is only applicable to participants of the challenge.

⬇ What do I need to submit for the Application Phase?
For this stage, your team must submit a proposal of no more than ten slides, describing in particular:
- Your concept
- The differentiating element of your idea
- The format of your media universe (tone, visuals, appearance, channel)
- Content themes
- The business model (source of revenue)
⬇ What is the deadline to apply?
The deadline of the application is April 28th, 2024 at 23h55 GMT+1
⬇ What is the judging criteria for my submission in the Application Phase?
The judges will assess the submissions according to the following criteria
- What sets your idea apart: How does your project stand out from other proposals?
- Format of your ideal media universe: How does your project stand out in terms of tone, visuals, appearance and distribution channel?
- Content themes: What subjects does your project address and how does it deal with them?
- Business model: How do you plan to monetise your idea?
⬇ How do I know if my team is shortlisted?
The result's announcement for the shortlisted teams will be made on May 7th, 2024. The announcement will be made via the platform announcement.

⬇ Who are the mentors?
If your team reaches the Mentoring Phase, you will have the opportunity to be matched and mentored by experts from Ouest France.
⬇ How will my team be paired up with the mentors?
You will be able to contact your mentor through the Agorize platform.
⬇ Do I need to submit anything for the Mentoring Phase?
For the mentoring phase, each team will submit a detailed proposal of 10-15 slides in PDF/PPTX format presenting :
- Your MVP
- The essential content (format, subject)
⬇ What is the judging criteria for my submission in the Mentoring Phase?
For the mentoring phase, the judges will assess the submissions according to the following criteria:
- Relevance and feasibility for a team of less than 10 people
- Choice of appropriate distribution channel
- Overall ambition of the project
- Originality and quality of the proposed content, including format and subject matter

⬇ How do I know if my team is selected for the Final Pitching Day?
The final teams who will progress to the Final Pitching Day will be announced by June 11th, 2024. The announcement will be made via the platform announcement.
⬇ How do I prepare for the pitch?
During the Preparation Phase, your Mentors will continue to support you and help you to refine your pitch.
⬇ What is the judging criteria for the final pitch?
The jury will evaluate your team's idea during the final presentation according to five key criteria:
- Fit of the MVP with the target
- Feasibility
- Innovative potential
- Soundness of the business model
- Pitch quality
